The History of Cedarpoint Trucking, Inc.
Mark Jensen and Craig Leatham began trucking careers in the early 1970's driving
for other companies hauling everything from gravel to petroleum, to building materials.
They became acquanted in 1979. Soon they were traveling similar routes and serving the
same shippers and receivers.
In the fall of 1980, they decided to join forces with Craig's two brothers, Forrest and Quirt,
and form Cedarpoint Trucking, Inc.
The foundation of the company based in Rexburg, Idaho was built on hard work and dedication by
the owners and employees. Cedarpoint prides itself in "Quality of Service" and understands
customers and employees are the real assets of success. Cedarpoint employees display their sense of pride
in the company with their day to day performance.
Cedarpoint Trucking has chosen to keep the company relatively small in order to maintain a personal relationship and
friendly atmosphere throughout the company. Cedarpoint is proud that many employees at Cedarpoint Trucking, Inc.
are in their second decade with the company.
