WAGE
Our pay scale is based on experience, driving record, and references. Pay is based on actual miles from the truck speedometer, not computer miles. Typical starting wage is 35 cents per mile.

ADDITIONAL
Additional pick-ups and drop-offs are paid at $20 each. Fully tarped lumber loads are paid at $20. Bulk loads are paid at $20. Restricted oversized loads are paid an additional 6 cents per mile.

VACATION
Vacation is paid at 1 cent per mile and is added to each paycheck.

BONUS
We pay an annual bonus for years of service beggining after five years of service.

INSURANCE
Health insurance is provided cost-free to each employee. Employees can add coverage to family members at an additional cost that will be deducted from each semi-monthly settlement. Accident and disability insurance are also available.

RETIREMENT
A 401K Retirement Plan is available to employees after one year of employment. Cedarpoint will match 50% of employee contribution.

HIRING POLICY
Drivers need to be at least 23 years old with a minimum of two years over-the-road experience. You are required to have a valid Commercial Driver’s License, a good driving record with no more than three minor violations in the past three years, and no serious or major accidents or violations. Cedarpoint is a drug free work place and requires a clear drug and alcohol screening.
